GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

HUPPA fabrics are coated with a polyurethane layer on the inside, which prevents water from penetrating the fabric while allowing moisture from inside the garment to evaporate. Huppa products are waterproof, breathable, and windproof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BEFORE WASHING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Do up all buttons, zips, buckles and velcro. This is to avoid wear and tear, both to these parts and to the rest of the garment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Remove any fur details before washing. If the product has a belt, wash it separately in a laundry bag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Wash the garment inside out to reduce wear and tear to the material\u2019s polyurethane coating.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Read the garment\u2019s care instructions carefully.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    WASHING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Always check the specific product’s care instructions and symbols before washing to ensure machine washing is allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The recommended temperature for washing technical products is 30\u00b0C unless otherwise specified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Wash the garment with items of similar color.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or rinse aids. These can compromise the product’s technical properties, such as waterproofness, breathability, and thermal insulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Regardless of the detergent used, rinse the garment thoroughly multiple times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Do not leave a wet garment in the washing machine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      DRYING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      After washing, spin the garment as dry as possible.
      If washing by hand, gently press out excess water before hanging to dry. Do not twist the garment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      DOWN PRODUCT CARE INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      HUPPA down products use a breathable 4-layer down-proof system. The fabric is soft down-proof material with water resistance and breathability ratings of 5000\/5000.
      Down is primarily used as a filling material due to its lightweight properties. Its fluffiness effectively traps warm air, and a natural waxy layer on the feathers makes the filling water-repellent. To maintain these properties, follow the care instructions carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. To restore the product\u2019s original fluffiness, add 2-3 tennis balls to the drum during washing and spinning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Always wash down products separately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Whenever possible, use detergents specifically designed for down products (e.g., Nikwax Down Wash, Hey Sport Down Wash, or other specialized down care detergents). These help restore the fluffiness and water-repellent properties of the downfilling. Washing with regular detergent removes the natural waxy coating from the feathers, reducing their insulation properties. Feathers without this coating clump together, causing the product to lose its thermal insulation and appearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or rinse aids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Regardless of the detergent used, rinse the product thoroughly multiple times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. Do not leave a wet product in the washing machine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          DRYING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Dry the product as quickly as possible to avoid unpleasant odors in the down filling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. After washing, spin the garment as dry as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. If washing by hand, gently press out excess water before hanging to dry. Do not twist the garment!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. The best method for drying down products is flat drying, where the damp item is laid horizontally to dry. This prevents the wet down from sinking to the bottom of the down pockets. Shake the garment occasionally to distribute the filling evenly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            We do not recommend using heating cabinets as they may cause harm to the features of the material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            To help protect the environment and your clothes, avoid washing garments unnecessarily!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Steaming Instructions for Technical Outerwear\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Restrictions and General Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • Do not iron the garments \u2014 direct heat from an iron may damage the technical fabric, affect the\u00a0fiber\u00a0structure, and compromise waterproofness and breathability.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Garments may only be steamed \u2014 this is the recommended care method.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Before steaming, ensure the garments are clean (for example, free from surface dust and dirt) \u2014 dirt and dust combined with heat may cause damage to the fabric<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              How to Steam Correctly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              1. Hang the product properly \u2014 on a hook or hanger \u2014 and make sure it hangs freely and is not compressed.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Switch on the steamer and allow it to heat up according to the manufacturer\u2019s instructions.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              3. Hold the steamer nozzle 2\u20135 cm away from the garment. This is the recommended distance to avoid direct heat and water contact with the fabric.\u00a0Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Avoid direct contact between the nozzle and the garment.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              4. Move the steamer nozzle slowly over the surface of the garment (in an up-and-down motion), starting from the top at the shoulders and moving downward. At the same time, you may use your other hand to gently hold the garment taut to help smooth out wrinkles more effectively.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              5. Do not hold the steamer in one spot for too long \u2014 excessive moisture or heat may damage the fabric and its technical finish.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              6. After steaming, allow the garment to hang for at least 15 minutes. Make sure the garment is completely dry \u2014 not wet or damp. Please do not place the garment in a plastic bag\u00a0immediately\u00a0after steaming.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
