HUPPA Spring/Autumn 2026 and the Art of Dressing Kids

At the heart of the season lies a desire to bring fun back into everyday dressing. Oversized florals bloom across garments in surreal proportions, creating a dreamlike contrast between protection and playfulness. Inspired by fairytales, curiosity, and the limitless imagination of childhood, the collection feels light, bold, and optimistic. At the same time, it remains firmly grounded in durability, performance, and longevity. These are qualities that parents value just as much as children appreciate the style.

Prints take center stage this season, each telling its own story and conveying a distinct emotion. The collection balances these expressive visuals with a carefully curated color palette that adds harmony and versatility.

Designed for movement, layering & longevity

True to HUPPA’s philosophy, the “Illusions” collection is as practical as it is expressive. The brand strongly believes in layering and adaptability across seasons, supporting a more conscious and slow-fashion approach. Instead of constantly replacing clothing, families can rely on fewer, well-designed pieces that are worn more often and styled in smarter ways.

Children thrive on independence and a sense of accomplishment. Being able to dress themselves quickly and comfortably helps them start the day with confidence. At the same time, parents need reassurance that their child will stay warm, dry, and protected. Even when they are at kindergarten, school, or playing outdoors with friends.

For little adventurers, HUPPA recommends the weatherproof DEIRO 3 and WILLE 1 overalls, both equipped with 40 g HuppaTherm insulation. These versatile pieces provide reliable protection against unpredictable spring weather while remaining light enough for active play. For optimal comfort, the overalls can be paired with HUPPA’s UKKO merino–bamboo base-layer sets and a HUPPA fleece mid-layer during colder days.

DEIRO 3

All HUPPA overalls are designed to keep children comfortable while they explore the outdoors. Whether they are climbing playground structures, running through forests, or jumping into puddles after rain. A waterproof and breathable membrane fabrics ensure protection from the elements, while the garments are treated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, a sustainable water- and dirt-repellent finish that is free from harmful substances.

The merino–bamboo base layers are another highlight of the collection. The reverse side features an exceptionally soft bamboo layer that feels gentle against the skin, making the garments ideal even for children with sensitive skin. Naturally thermo-regulating and moisture-wicking, these base layers help maintain comfort throughout the day, regardless of changing weather conditions.

SAMI

Spring weather can be unpredictable, shifting quickly from sunshine to chilly winds. This is why layering is essential, as is choosing the correct fit. Clothing that is too tight cannot effectively retain warmth, regardless of insulation. The real secret to warmth lies in the air trapped between layers, which acts as natural insulation.

For this reason, most HUPPA spring and autumn outerwear features 40 g HuppaTherm insulation, a versatile choice that works perfectly with layered outfits. The insulation is light enough for milder days but still provides protection when temperatures unexpectedly drop or cold winds appear. With proper layering, many of these garments can comfortably be worn in temperatures down to 0°C, extending their usability throughout the season.

Safety is also an essential part of the design. Reflective elements integrated into the garments increase visibility during darker mornings and evenings, helping children stay noticeable in low-light conditions.

A family connection through style

HUPPA celebrates the strong bond between parents and children. Selected pieces in the Men’s and Women’s collections feature “Mini & Me” options, adding a playful dimension that allows families to share the joy of dressing alike. Beyond the emotional connection, this approach reinforces an important message: children often learn by observing their role models. When parents dress appropriately for the weather, children are more likely to do the same.

Teenagers are not forgotten either. The Spring/Autumn 2026 collection includes weatherproof coats and parkas, allowing teens to stay protected from the elements while expressing their own evolving sense of style.

Finally, no outfit is complete without the right accessories. Hats, collars, and gloves play a crucial role during colder days, as body heat escapes most quickly through the head and hands. By combining functional accessories with layered clothing, children can stay comfortable and protected while enjoying every outdoor adventure.

With “Illusions”, HUPPA once again proves that children’s outerwear can be both imaginative and highly functional, allowing young explorers to experience the outdoors with warmth, freedom, and a touch of magic.
